You are invited to a two-in-one virtual class:
Class1: Eating Healthy on a Budget: Building Affordable, Balanced Meals is an interactive class designed to help you make nutritious food choices while staying within your budget. Participants will learn simple strategies for planning ahead, shopping smart, preparing balanced meals, comparing fresh, frozen, and canned options, choosing affordable protein sources and making ingredients go further.
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be expensive! Join to learn realistic strategies that can help you save money while creating nutritious, satisfying meals for you and your family.
Class 2: Eat Well on the Go is an interactive class designed to help you make healthier choices when dining out or ordering fast food. Participants will learn practical strategies for navigating menus, identifying healthier options and building balanced meals while on the go. Through interactive games and activities, participants will learn how to make the best of any menu and feel confident making nutritious choices wherever they eat.
These programs will be taught by two dietetic interns under the guidance of Andrea Nikolai, MPH, RDN, LDN, UF/IFAS Extension Family and Consumer Sciences Agent.
