An ordinance of Board of County Commissioners of Polk County, Florida, amending Polk County Ordinance 06-24, the Polk County Procurement Ordinance, as amended; amending section 3D, authority of the county manager; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.
This ordinance amends Ordinance 2006-24, the Polk County Procurement Ordinance, as amended, to delegate to the County Manager the authority to enter into agreements not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) on behalf of, in the name of, purporting to bind, without further approval of the Polk County Board of County Commissioners.
A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 9 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Commission Boardroom, County Administration Building, 330 W. Church St., Bartow, FL 33830.
