Bartow, Fla. (Jan. 5, 2026) – A portion of Lake Ariana Boulevard closed at 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5 for a City of Auburndale Public Works Street Division sanitary manhole replacement project.
Lake Ariana Boulevard is closed to thru traffic from Deen Boulevard to Old Lakeland Auburndale Road in Auburndale until sanitary manhole work is completed. The roadway is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15.

Traffic traveling south on Lake Ariana Boulevard north of the closure will be re-routed west on Deen Boulevard. Traffic traveling north on Lake Ariana Boulevard will be rerouted west on Old Lakeland Auburndale Road.
Residents are asked to plan alternative routes as needed.
