Bartow, Fla. (Jan. 3, 2026) – A portion of FDC Grove Road and Minute Maid Ramp Road One in Davenport will be closed at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5 for roadway widening, milling and paving work.
FDC Grove Road will be closed from Minute Maid Ramp Road Two through the FDC Grove Road and Minute Maid Ramp Road One intersection. A portion of Minute Maid Ramp Road One to Tongass Bend will also be closed for the project. The roadways are expected to reopen at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6.
The closure is part of a Tucker Paving, Inc. project.
Traffic traveling south on FDC Grove Road north of the closure will be re-routed east on Minute Maid Ramp Road Two, south onto U.S. Highway 27 and then west on Holly Hill Grove Road Two. Traffic traveling north on FDC Grove Road south of the closure will be re-routed east onto Holly Hill Grove Road Two, north onto U.S. Highway 27 and then west on Minute Maid Road One.
Residents are asked to plan alternative routes as needed.
