History Center
Showcasing, informing and inspiring residents and visitors with Polk’s rich history is the mission here. The History Center provides interesting programming, genealogy exploration, opportunities to discover heritage trails and experience fun special events. Exhibits and artifacts tell fabulous stories about Polk's past.
Parks and recreation

Environmental Reserves
Polk County’s Environmental Lands Program acquires, preserves, protects, manages and restores endangered and environmentally sensitive lands, water resources and important wildlife habitats.
Bone Valley ATV Park
Bone Valley is an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) park on a 200-acre tract of land with 15 trails, hill climbs and open riding areas.
