Business Impact Statement - Polk County Right-of-Way-Sign Enforcement Ordinance

It is the intent of this Ordinance to establish a Hybrid Enforcement Model that imposes an immediate civil fine for the act of placing the sign in the right-of-way. The Ordinance also provides a 7-day cure period for the removal of the sign before the County removes it and assesses costs. The Ordinance is set to be heard on March 17, 2026, at 9 a.m.
