Portions of North Galloway Road and 10th Street West Will Remain Closed for Roadway Reconstruction Work

Bartow, Fla. (July 17, 2026) – A portion of the North Galloway Road and 10^th Street West intersection in Lakeland will remain closed until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22 for roadway reconstruction work.

Two lanes of travel will remain open on the southwest side of the intersection allowing eastbound traffic on 10^th Street West to turn south on North Galloway Road and traffic traveling northbound on North Galloway Road to turn west on 10^th Street West.

Traffic is being detoured on Sutton Road, Bella Vista Street West and then Wabash Avenue North.

Residents are asked to plan alternative routes as needed.
