Bartow, Fla. (Feb. 2, 2026) — Polk County Utilities contractors will consolidate a portion of southbound U.S. Highway 27 to two lanes beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, to accommodate repairs on a reclaimed water main. The lane shift will begin slightly north of Waverly Barn Road and end at the exit of Love’s Truck Care. The lane will reopen on the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 6.
