Bartow, Fla. (Jan. 8, 2026) – The Jersey Road roadway closure in Winter Haven has been extended until Saturday, Jan. 17.
Jersey Road will remain closed between East Derby Avenue and Havendale Boulevard until roadway widening, milling and resurfacing work is complete. The roadway is expected to reopen at 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 17.
The closure is part of a Cornerstone Collard Auburndale, LLC project.
Traffic traveling south on Jersey Road will be re-routed west onto East Derby Avenue and then south onto Charlotte Road. Traffic traveling west on Havendale Boulevard will be re-routed north onto Charlotte Road and then east onto East Derby Avenue.
Residents are asked to plan alternative routes as needed.
