Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Request for Application Technical Assistance Workshop

Polk County will host the 2026–27 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Request for Application Technical Assistance Workshop at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, in the boardroom of the Polk County Administration Building, 330 W. Church St. in Bartow.

This mandatory workshop is for nonprofit organizations, associations, and faith‑based organizations with 501(c)(3) status that plan to apply for fiscal year 2026–27 CDBG funding. The session will provide an overview of the CDBG program, details about the upcoming application, and guidance on the technical aspects of submitting a proposal. Attendance is mandatory for any organization wishing to apply.

The online application portal will open at 8 a.m. on Feb. 24 and close at 4:59 p.m. on March 24. All proposals must be submitted electronically. The application link will be available on the Housing and Neighborhood Development page.
