Bartow, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2026) — Polk County Utilities is discontinuing the precautionary boil water notice issued on Feb. 3 for customers in the Lake James and Harrison Place subdivisions in Lakeland, Florida. Bacteriological water samples collected from this area are free of contamination. The water supply has been completely cleared for use.
