The Polk County History Center presents Accredited Investigative Genetic Genealogist Tracie Boyle, who explains how investigative genetic genealogy is transforming cold‑case work by turning distant DNA matches into actionable leads. She walks through the Investigative genetic genealogy (IGG) process, explaining how DNA analysis and traditional genealogy help identify unknown individuals and advance long‑standing cases. Through real case examples, attendees will see how IGG generates leads, narrows suspects and restores identities.

Boyle is the director of case management at the Ramapo College Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center and has assisted law enforcement agencies nationwide since expanding into investigative genealogy in 2018.
