Celebrate the holiday season at the Polk County History Center during the 16th Annual Festival of Wreaths. The festival features family-friendly holiday programs, beautiful wreaths and a silent auction.

Festival of Wreaths Display and Silent Auction

The wreaths will be on display at the history center from Nov. 7 until Dec. 12.

Bid on your favorite wreaths that were decorated by Polk individual residents, organizations and businesses. Find that special wreath to bring home and add to your own holiday decor. Auction begins on Nov. 7 at 8 a.m. Auction ends on Dec. 12 at 5 p.m.

Merry and Bright

Celebrate the spirit of the season with a specially curated tour of the Festival of Wreaths at the Polk County History Center. This holly jolly guided tour explores the wreath designs, their unique meanings and the organizations or individuals they represent.

Tours times will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec.11

Selfies with Santa (Reservations Required)

Santa Claus and his elves will be returning to his study at the history center for Selfies with Santa.

Reservations are required. Current dates available include:

Nov. 20 (4 to 6 p.m.)
Nov. 28 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Dec. 5 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Dec.19 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Jingle and Mingle at the History Center

Join in celebrating the joys of the season through song. Enjoy live Christmas music from the Frostproof High School Chorus at 11 a.m. and noon, followed by the Berkley Charter Elementary School Chorus at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12.
