Bartow, Fla. (Dec. 15, 2025) – A portion of Mammoth Grove Road in Lake Wales is scheduled to close at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16 for roadway repair work.
Mammoth Grove Road at Camp Mack Road to Cypress Lake Road will be closed to through traffic. The closure is part of an ongoing Polk Regional Water Cooperative project.
The roadway is expected to reopen at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Traffic traveling south on Camp Mack Road and traffic traveling west on Cypress Lake Road will be detoured south onto Mammoth Grove Road and then east onto Lake Park Road.
