East Derby Avenue to Remain Closed Until Dec. 30

Bartow, Fla. (Nov. 26, 2025) – East Derby Avenue will remain closed until Tuesday, Dec. 30.

All lanes on East Derby Avenue will be closed between Jersey Road NW and Lake Jessie Drive in Winter Haven. The roadway is expected to open at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30.

Traffic on Jersey Road NW and Lake Jessie Drive will be re-routed to Sherry Avenue NW.

The closure is part of an ongoing Cornerstone Collard Auburndale, LLC., project that requires storm water line installation and roadway resurfacing improvements.
